Maryborough Butter Factory
is a key component of the delivery of Creative Goldfields activities. It is centrally located within the Shire’s tourism precinct and next to the public transport hub. As a creative space it retains a focus on exploring humanity, inclusion and diversity through a creative activities. It is a valuable centre for arts and creativity and is a destination for local tourism. It is an effective combination of gallery, studio and workshop space that deliver exhibitions, installations and community events that could not be delivered as successfully elsewhere.
Avoca Arts Precinct
Spearheaded by the Gallery 127, this is a dynamic centre for the arts and supports regional artists. The precinct continues to grow with exciting new concepts the latest being huge creative projections onto the local silos for evening film and cultural events.
Possum Gully Art Gallery
Possum Gully Art Gallery is a gallery run by a local artist specialising in painting and drawing. Trish Walsh holds a permanent collection of her artwork as well as periodic exhibitions of other local artists.
Dunolly Arts Hub
Is a community arts hub that hold exhibitions of local arts and crafts and is run by experienced staff and volunteers.
Maryborough Art Gallery
This municipal art gallery always presents an exhibition worth seeing. Helen Captian curates the gallery with a keen eye to great art.
Mill House
Mill House is a Neighbourhood House with a fresh and dynamic approach to community creativity. Mill House participates in many local cultural activities with exciting events that focus on the visual and culinary.
Ministry of Fun
The Ministry of Fun is a workshop and retail space devoted to felting. It carries the exceptional work of a local textile and community artist Anna Ashton.
